The appro­xi­m­ate­ly 300 spe­cia­lists at BLANC & FISCHER Corporate Ser­vices cover 14 dif­fe­rent are­as of exper­ti­se, ran­ging from Human Resour­ces, Finan­ce and Con­trol­ling to Faci­li­ty Manage­ment, Purcha­sing, and IT. They ser­ve near­ly 8,000 employees in 23 count­ries across 52 loca­ti­ons world­wi­de, gene­ra­ting reve­nues of appro­xi­m­ate­ly 1.24 bil­li­on euros in 2023. Purcha­sing Indi­rect Mate­ri­al depart­ment in the grea­ter Stutt­gart / Karls­ru­he area, we are loo­king for a Glo­bal Lead Buy­er Mar­ke­ting (m/f/d). We are loo­king for an expe­ri­en­ced and high­ly moti­va­ted Glo­bal Lead Buy­er Mar­ke­ting (m/f/d) in the grea­ter Stutt­gart / Karls­ru­he area, who will be respon­si­ble for sus­tain­ab­ly incre­asing mar­ke­ting effi­ci­en­cy through pro­fes­sio­nal purcha­sing of divi­si­on-rele­vant ser­vices and goods. 

Key responsibilities

  • Glo­bal respon­si­bi­li­ty for the indi­rect pro­duct group BLANCO Glo­bal Brand Marketing
  • Disci­pli­na­ry lea­der­ship of the Glo­bal Brand Mar­ke­ting Pro­cu­re­ment team
  • Report­ing line to the Direc­tor Purcha­sing Indi­rect Material
  • Deve­lo­p­ment and imple­men­ta­ti­on of a national/international pro­cu­re­ment stra­tegy for mar­ke­ting pro­ducts and services
  • Col­la­bo­ra­te with mar­ke­ting col­le­agues at BLANCO head­quar­ters and natio­nal sub­si­dia­ries (e.g. EMEA, APAC, North Ame­ri­ca) on bud­get and KPI plan­ning, con­trol and analysis.
  • Iden­ti­fy and eva­lua­te national/international sup­pli­ers to ensu­re best terms in terms of qua­li­ty, pri­ce and service.
  • Draf­ting and nego­tia­ting contracts/framework agree­ments with suppliers/agencies
  • Inde­pen­dent imple­men­ta­ti­on of com­plex natio­nal and inter­na­tio­nal purcha­sing pro­ces­ses across a broad spec­trum (e.g. paid media from print to digi­tal, per­for­mance mar­ke­ting, print, crea­ti­ve agen­ci­es, asset pro­duc­tion such as CGI and film pro­duc­tion, events, exhi­bi­ti­ons, logi­stics, digi­tal plat­forms, SAAS, CAAS, MACH as well as licen­sing rights and brand protection)
  • Liai­se with inter­nal stake­hol­ders inclu­ding mar­ke­ting, con­trol­ling, legal and com­pli­ance to meet pro­ject requirements
  • Con­ti­nuous­ly impro­ve purcha­sing pro­ces­ses and metrics
  • Work clo­se­ly with sup­pli­ers to ensu­re the company’s stra­te­gic objectives

Qualifications

  • Degree in Busi­ness Admi­nis­tra­ti­on, Mar­ke­ting or rela­ted field
  • Seve­ral years of expe­ri­ence in pro­cu­re­ment and purcha­sing, spe­cia­li­sing in marketing/agencies/media in an inter­na­tio­nal envi­ron­ment with various sub­si­dia­ries and cen­tral mar­ke­ting procurement.
  • Team lea­der­ship experience
  • Expe­ri­ence in glo­bal supplier/agency manage­ment and con­tract drafting
  • Pro­ject manage­ment expe­ri­ence and abili­ty to coor­di­na­te mul­ti­ple pro­jects simultaneously
  • In-depth know­ledge of B2C and B2B mar­ke­ting and pro­ven expe­ri­ence working with mar­ke­ting agencies
  • Excel­lent Eng­lish skills, both writ­ten and spo­ken; good Ger­man skills (at least B2)
  • Excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on skills and inter­cul­tu­ral sensitivity
  • Abili­ty to travel
