The approx­i­mate­ly 300 spe­cial­ists at BLANC & FISCHER Corporate Ser­vices cov­er 14 dif­fer­ent areas of exper­tise, rang­ing from Human Resources, Finance and Con­trol­ling to Facil­i­ty Man­age­ment, Pur­chas­ing, and IT. They serve near­ly 8,000 employ­ees in 23 coun­tries across 52 loca­tions world­wide, gen­er­at­ing rev­enues of approx­i­mate­ly 1.24 bil­lion euros in 2023. Pur­chas­ing Indi­rect Mate­r­i­al depart­ment in the greater Stuttgart / Karl­sruhe area, we are look­ing for a Glob­al Lead Buy­er Mar­ket­ing (m/f/d). We are look­ing for an expe­ri­enced and high­ly moti­vat­ed Glob­al Lead Buy­er Mar­ket­ing (m/f/d) in the greater Stuttgart / Karl­sruhe area, who will be respon­si­ble for sus­tain­ably increas­ing mar­ket­ing effi­cien­cy through pro­fes­sion­al pur­chas­ing of divi­sion-rel­e­vant ser­vices and goods. 

Key responsibilities

  • Glob­al respon­si­bil­i­ty for the indi­rect prod­uct group BLANCO Glob­al Brand Marketing
  • Dis­ci­pli­nary lead­er­ship of the Glob­al Brand Mar­ket­ing Pro­cure­ment team
  • Report­ing line to the Direc­tor Pur­chas­ing Indi­rect Material
  • Devel­op­ment and imple­men­ta­tion of a national/international pro­cure­ment strat­e­gy for mar­ket­ing prod­ucts and services
  • Col­lab­o­rate with mar­ket­ing col­leagues at BLANCO head­quar­ters and nation­al sub­sidiaries (e.g. EMEA, APAC, North Amer­i­ca) on bud­get and KPI plan­ning, con­trol and analysis.
  • Iden­ti­fy and eval­u­ate national/international sup­pli­ers to ensure best terms in terms of qual­i­ty, price and service.
  • Draft­ing and nego­ti­at­ing contracts/framework agree­ments with suppliers/agencies
  • Inde­pen­dent imple­men­ta­tion of com­plex nation­al and inter­na­tion­al pur­chas­ing process­es across a broad spec­trum (e.g. paid media from print to dig­i­tal, per­for­mance mar­ket­ing, print, cre­ative agen­cies, asset pro­duc­tion such as CGI and film pro­duc­tion, events, exhi­bi­tions, logis­tics, dig­i­tal plat­forms, SAAS, CAAS, MACH as well as licens­ing rights and brand protection)
  • Liaise with inter­nal stake­hold­ers includ­ing mar­ket­ing, con­trol­ling, legal and com­pli­ance to meet project requirements
  • Con­tin­u­ous­ly improve pur­chas­ing process­es and metrics
  • Work close­ly with sup­pli­ers to ensure the com­pa­ny’s strate­gic objectives

Qualifications

  • Degree in Busi­ness Admin­is­tra­tion, Mar­ket­ing or relat­ed field
  • Sev­er­al years of expe­ri­ence in pro­cure­ment and pur­chas­ing, spe­cial­is­ing in marketing/agencies/media in an inter­na­tion­al envi­ron­ment with var­i­ous sub­sidiaries and cen­tral mar­ket­ing procurement.
  • Team lead­er­ship experience
  • Expe­ri­ence in glob­al supplier/agency man­age­ment and con­tract drafting
  • Project man­age­ment expe­ri­ence and abil­i­ty to coor­di­nate mul­ti­ple projects simultaneously
  • In-depth knowl­edge of B2C and B2B mar­ket­ing and proven expe­ri­ence work­ing with mar­ket­ing agencies
  • Excel­lent Eng­lish skills, both writ­ten and spo­ken; good Ger­man skills (at least B2)
  • Excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills and inter­cul­tur­al sensitivity
  • Abil­i­ty to travel
